Sage releases Sage 200cloud 2020 version update
Wednesday 16th September 2020 sees the release of Sage 200cloud 2020 R2 for Standard Edition.
Analytics and insights organisation, Switchee has selected CPiO to implement it's new Sage X3 software – a comprehensive business management solution that helps organisations to manage complex business processes. Sage X3 will enable Switchee to streamline processes and will support continued business growth.
Founded in 2015, Switchee empowers over 120 housing providers with its personalised dashboard which proactively identifies properties at risk of condensation, damp and mould and flags potential fuel poverty with real-time data collected by its smart device installed in residents’ homes. Switchee exists to improve the quality of life for people living in rented homes.
Switchee has recently experienced rapid growth and this is forecast to continue, meaning its previous accounting software required upgrading to handle increasing demand.
Kirsty Farrand, Head of Finance at Switchee, explains, “Our previous solution required a manual process of passing information back and forth, which was time consuming and presented potential challenges when reporting. This, coupled with the growth that we are experiencing, advanced our need for a new accounting system.”
CPiO was recommended to Switchee by word of mouth, and after an interactive Sage X3 demonstration with one of CPiO’s Sage experts, Switchee made the decision to purchase Sage X3.
Sage X3 is a single solution that provides all key business processes in one place. The software is highly customisable and has the functionality to expand into new markets and services. Sage X3 will be hosted in the CPiO Cloud, allowing Sage X3 to be accessed from anywhere, 24/7 – which is perfect for Switchee as the majority of users are remote.

Now that Switchee has made the decision to purchase Sage X3, the software implementation journey will begin. Switchee will have a dedicated Sage X3 project manager and both companies will develop shared plans for a seamless installation.
