The good news is with the name changes there comes no price or feature changes. Subscribers don’t need to do anything to activate or accept the change but will see the change of name on invoices.
Of CPiO’s two key Microsoft Office 365 offerings, only one has undergone a name change. Office 365 Business Premium has become Microsoft 365 Business Standard.
Office 365 Enterprise 3 is keeping its original name. For now at least.
Since its launch in 2017, Microsoft 365 has come a long way. Microsoft now refer to it as “the world’s productivity cloud” representing the organisation’s vision for the future of Microsoft productivity tools, an integrated set of apps and services that puts artificial intelligence (AI) and other cutting-edge innovations to work for the user.
The Office we know and are familiar with will still exist but in addition, Microsoft is excited about the new apps and services that have been added to its subscriptions over the last few years, and about the new innovations that it will be launching in the coming months.
You can read more about the name changes and what other Office 365 solutions have been renamed on the Microsoft website.
