Amelia Knight’s Sage X3 system was originally hosted and supported by another partner, which Sean Stokes, Operations Manager at Amelia Knight, feels was: "more of a commercial partnership.” He continues, “We had no proactive help on the account. No suggestions about further training or ideas on how we could do things more efficiently. These were all considered factors in the move to a new provider.

Since the implementation
Sean, who has worked alongside CPiO from the outset, says, “Whilst there haven’t been many issues at all, through CPiO consultancy services we have a speedy resolution to any problems that do occur. They are always readily available to service our business.”
CPiO hosts Sage X3 for Amelia Knight in the CPiO Cloud, and they are using this through three different sites in the UK. Their team in China is also using the manufacturing side of the software.
Sean adds: “The response time is pretty good now; we are using the reports overnight for SEI. Through the server hosting, it has ensured that Amelia Knight has security and compliant data management with automatic backup to restore availability if needed.”
Beckie comments, “Since going live in China, we have provided invaluable insight and knowledge to implementing infrastructure in a more complex country. I am delighted they joined us, and I thoroughly enjoy working with their teams.”
Next steps
Amelia Knight will switch on Material Resource Planning (MRP) and look to move Sage X3 to the latest version. They are looking forward to training with the project management team and learning all that Sage X3 has to offer.
Sean concludes, “There is lots of work to do in the background, but once we have all of our training, we will be saving lots of time and increasing productivity with the new functionality Sage X3 offers.”
